一年级学生: You are a first-year student if you have not taken courses at a post-secondary institution since you graduated from high school.

Early-Entry: You are an early entry student if you are a high school junior or senior and wish to get an early start on your college coursework. See College Credit in High School, as your checklist may vary.

Transfer: You are a transfer student if you have taken courses from a post-secondary institution other than 湖区州立大学 after you graduated from high school.

Collaborative: A Collaborative student chooses to enroll at more than one North Dakota University System (NDUS) institution for a particular term. The institution from which the student is earning a degree is considered the “home institution.” The institution that supplies courses for the degree is considered the “provider institution.”

Continuing: Continuing students have already earned a degree from LRSC and wish to continue taking classes to earn an additional degree, 和自我提高保持了一致, 自鸣得意, or other personal reasons related to life-long learning.

Non-Degree: Non-degree students are students who do not intend to earn a degree, 但希望参加自我提升的课程, 自鸣得意, or other personal reasons related to life-long learning.

Official transcripts must be received from institutions previously attended. 被认为是官方的, the transcripts must be received by LRSC in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution.

• 高中成绩单或GED. Exemptions to this policy may be granted if you have completed 24 or more semester hours of college-level coursework. If you are a current high school student a hold will be placed on your account until the final high school transcript is received.
• 学院/大学成绩单. Including any transcripts for credits completed while in high school (excluding LRSC). In progress, transcripts will be required for any institution currently in attendance. A final transcript will also be required once grades are posted.
• US transcripts. 美国成绩单将从 国家清算所 or Parchment.

IMMUNIZATION RECORDS FOR STUDENTS LIVING AND/OR ATTENDING CLASSES ON CAMPUS

Students enrolled at LRSC must provide documentation of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. 豁免文件是指:

• Remedial courses are not accepted for college credit but may fulfill prerequisites.
• Common numbered courses will transfer as a direct equivalent course if LRSC offers the course, or will be applied to General Education subject area requirements. Otherwise, the course will transfer as a general education elective credit(s).
• North Dakota University System (NDUS) institutions streamlined the transfer process with the General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement (GERTA). 点击这里了解更多关于GERTA的详细信息.
• Credits from institutions on the quarter system will be converted to semester hour credits.
• 审查信贷, life experience, or any credit awarded by another institution will be excluded from transfer credit evaluations. (Additional documentation must be provided for evaluation.)

湖区州立大学 offers students still in high school a way to challenge themselves and receive college and high school credit at the same time. Early entry allows high school students to take some of their generals while still attending their high school.

LAUNCH! is a partnership between 湖区州立大学 (LRSC) and the University of North Dakota (UND). The program is designed to serve students who are not yet eligible for admission to the University of North Dakota but meet eligibility requirements for 湖区州立大学. 选择参加LAUNCH的学生! 项目将招收全日制LRSC学生, but will also take a limited number of prescribed UND classes. Classes will be held on the UND campus in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Students who successfully complete 24 transferable credits and earn a 2.0 grade point average may be considered for admission as degree-seeking transfer students to UND. LAUNCH! 学生可以参与学生生活, housing, student services, organizations, facilities, and activities, 除一级运动外, 提供给每一个攻读学位的UND学生. The program offers heightened academic support and unmatched personal attention. Courses are small in size, offering an opportunity for the instructor to assist students. Tutoring times are built into the schedule and additional tutoring is available by the Student Success Center on the UND campus. Intensive advisement is offered to each of the students and the LAUNCH! Coordinator is located on the UND campus to offer assistance to students.

To qualify as a collaborative student, you MUST meet the following criteria:

• You cannot have any negative service indicators preventing enrollment
• You must be enrolled in at least one course at 湖区州立大学 for the term
• You cannot exceed 20 semester hours total for the term without appropriate approval
• You must meet all prerequisites set by the provider institution
• Graduate-level and correspondence courses are not eligible for collaborative registration

Registering as a collaborative student may be a benefit if you are using the credits for Financial Aid at 湖区州立大学. Consider your collaborative registration very carefully and if you have any questions contact Paula Zielske or Sarah Gratton at LRSC_Collaborative@furtherplatonix.net or 701-662-1671

As part of your Collaborative Registration, 湖区州立大学 will complete the following:

• Credits taken at provider institutions will be combined with credits at LRSC for financial aid purposes.
• Tuition owed to your provider institution will be added to your bill at 湖区州立大学.
• Bookstore charges will be added to your account at 湖区州立大学.
• A transcript from your provider institution will automatically be requested at the end of the semester and credits will be transferred to 湖区州立大学.

协同注册流程

1. Complete the Collaborative Request found in your 校园连接 under the eForm Tile. How-to guide: 协同改革流程
2. LRSC reviews your request and verifies your eligibility to take the requested courses collaboratively
3. LRSC将请求传递给提供者机构
4. Provider institution registers you in 校园连接 and emails you a copy of your schedule. You are not registered until you receive this confirmation email.
5. Once you are registered at the provider institution a hold will be placed on your account preventing you from making any changes. Drops/Adds must be administered by submitting an updated collaborative request form.

All drop and refund deadlines at 湖区州立大学 will apply to this course.

NDUS Collaborative Student Taking Courses through 湖区州立大学 (LRSC is the provider institution):

• The student must be degree-seeking and enrolled in at least one undergraduate or graduate course at their home institution and in good academic standing (GPA of 2.0 or higher).
• The student must complete a collaborative request form at the home institution.
• The home institution determines at the time of the collaborative request if the courses requested will be approved.
• The Collaborative Contact at 湖区州立大学 will enroll the collaborative student and place a “Collaborative Student Hold” on the student’s account. 此次暂停不会产生负面影响, however, it will prevent the student from making changes to their LRSC schedule.
• Drops/Adds must be administered by submitting an updated collaborative request form with the student’s home institution.
